Smart Strip Paint Remover

Smart Strip is a revolutionary paint remover that is safe for the user, the substrate and the environment. This 100% biodegradable, water-based stripper is extremely effective for removing multiple layers of architectural and industrial coatings from virtually all interior/exterior surfaces - wood, brick, metal, concrete, stone, plaster, fiberglass, etc. Smart Strip does not contain methylene chloride, caustic, or toxic chemicals. It is odor free.

Smart Strip is exceptional for the safe removal of lead based paint and is excellent for intricate, carved or molded surfaces. It is also great for removing marine paints without damaging the gel coat. Because it is a paste, Smart Strip can easily be applied by brush, roller or conventional airless sprayer. It is formulated to remain wet and effective over extended periods of time and does not require the use of Peel Away Paper. Although the use of Peel Away Paper will accelerate the removal process and extend dwell time.

I'VE TRIED SMART STRIP ON PAINTED WOOD, PAINTED METAL, AND URETHANED WOOD. IT WORKED VERY WELL ON THE PAINTED SURFACES. THE URETHANE SURFACE TOOK A LITTLE MORE TIME, BUT ALSO WORKED WELL. SMART STRIP IS VERY EASY TO USE, FROM 1st TIME USER TO PROFESSIONAL.



I took the product to work and used it on several different materials and it worked great and no problems on any type of paint.

Stripping finish is often a tedious job. Smart strip seems to work as well or better than many other strippers I have tried but without the fumes often associated with ordinary products. Suggested retail is a bit high I think.



I used this product to strip paint from some old lumber I was storing in the garage. This product took the paint off quickly, with little work on my part, and it took the paint off so well I was able to paint the wood another color once I built a small workbench for my sons.

The product did what it advertised. Other products do this but not quite as well.



The product is odorless, easy to clean up after use, no messy applicators and run off. I’d definitely recommend to fellow club members.

I used this on an older rocker which I was trying to restore and it worked fantastic, lifting the old paint and varnish effortlessly. What a great product and worth the extra couple of bucks.
