Peel Away^® Marine Strip II

Peel Away^® Marine Strip II is specifically designed as an alternative to Peel Away^® Marine Safety Strip for removing marine bottom, antifouling paint where the epoxy barrier coat is to be left intact. This product is an alkaline paste and in a single application will strip all antifouling coatings on boats without fumes or flammable solvents.

This safe and environmentally friendly lead-based paint removal system includes a paste that is toweled or sprayed over the surface to be stripped. This paste is then covered with a fibrous laminated cloth which controls evaporation and is left on until all of the paint is dissolved. The laminated cloth is then removed with the bulk of the paste and coatings adhering to it. Then the stripped surface should be washed clean with water. Surface should then be neutralized after paint is removed.

There is no special ventilation needed with this non-toxic, green product. This paint remover does not contain methylene chloride, MEK or any other highly flammable solvent and it easily clings to a vertical or overhang surface.
