Overcoat’s single application dries quickly to a smooth, resilient, finished surface that resists impact and degradation. Overcoat offers superior fire retardant protection, classified as a Class “A” building material, and resist flame up to 2000°F and surface temperature in excess of 600°F.

In addition, its non-toxic formulation includes mildew, rust and corrosion resistors and UV inhibitor, providing superior encapsulation on either exterior or interior applications.

As a penetrating encapsulant, Undercoat rapidly saturates loose or friable asbestos fibers, curing to a tough durable coating with super adhesion strength. As a soil encapsulant, Undercoat will penetrate the soil and cure to a tough, yet resilient coating in low foot traffic areas or crawl spaces. For moderate foot traffic areas, Certane 2000 – overcoat can be applied over Undercoat.

For heavy traffic, lay mesh between Undercoat and Overcoat.
